Step 1: Install Purple IPTV on Android TV

  3. Enter your CCCAMBOX credentials carefully:
Playlist Name: CCCAMBOX
Server URL: [Your CCCAMBOX server URL]
Username: [Your CCCAMBOX username]
Password: [Your CCCAMBOX password]
  1. Tap "Add", "Save", or "Connect"
  2. Wait for the app to load your channels (may take 30-60 seconds)
  3. Once loaded, you'll see your channel list organized by categories

Tip: Copy and paste your credentials from your CCCAMBOX email to avoid typos.

Method 2: M3U Playlist URL

  1. Tap "Add Playlist" or "+"
  2. Select "M3U URL" or "Remote Playlist"
  3. Paste your CCCAMBOX M3U playlist URL
  4. Give it a descriptive name (e.g., "CCCAMBOX")
  5. Tap "Add" or "OK"

Note: With M3U method, you may need to add EPG URL separately for TV guide functionality.


External Video Players

  2. Go to Purple IPTV SettingsPlayer

  4. Channels will now open in the selected player

Troubleshooting

App Crashes or Won't Load

Solutions:

  1. Clear app cache:
    • Go to Android TV Settings
    • Navigate to AppsPurple IPTV
    • Select Clear Cache
    • Restart the app
  2. Clear app data (if cache doesn't help):
    • SettingsAppsPurple IPTV
    • Select Clear Data (you'll need to re-add playlist)
  3. Restart your Android TV device
  4. Reinstall the app:
    • Uninstall Purple IPTV
    • Restart Android TV
    • Reinstall from Play Store

Channels Not Loading

Check these items:

  • Verify internet connection is active and stable
  • Confirm CCCAMBOX subscription is active (not expired)
  • Re-enter credentials carefully (check for typos)
  • Test M3U URL in web browser to verify it works
  • Try switching between WiFi and ethernet connection

Additional fixes:

No EPG/TV Guide Showing

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Ensure EPG is included in your CCCAMBOX subscription
  2. For M3U playlists, manually add EPG URL in settings
  3. Refresh EPG: Settings → EPG → Refresh Now
  4. Wait 15-30 minutes for EPG to fully load after first setup
  5. Check time zone settings are correct
  6. Verify your device has correct date and time

Login Failed / Authentication Error

  • Typos: Double-check username, password, and server URL
  • Extra spaces: Ensure no spaces before/after credentials
  • Server URL format: Check if URL needs http:// or specific port

Video Player Issues
